Osprey Insurance Brokers has been Acquired by Artex, an Arthur J. Gallagher Company

Tangiers Group, a leading international insurance services organization based in Malta, has sold Osprey Insurance Brokers Co Ltd (“Osprey”) to Artex Risk Solutions, Inc. (“Artex”). 

Since its inception in 1995, Osprey has handled the insurance requirements for the majority of the Maltese aviation market.  The specialist aviation insurance broker works closely with the London and international markets in the placing of insurance policies, claims handling and the drafting of insurance policies for various aviation-related entities.  In addition to its specialty in the airline industry, Osprey brokers medium-to-large accounts in all classes of insurance and provides risk management and training services for clients.  The sale is part of a designed reorganization to focus resources on Tangiers Group’s international claims services capabilities.

Artex, a subsidiary of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., is an international insurance risk management firm with deep ties to the London market.  The acquisition immediately establishes Artex as a leader in the Maltese market and provides dedicated aviation risk management expertise.
